Part 1
Today, I’d like to use this space to answer questions I frequently receive. Many of my pages contain FAQ sections, but here I focus on boudoir sessions and the questions that they specifically raise.
I can be super awkward in front of a camera. Where do I learn how to pose? Should I practice?
Don’t worry! I’m a professional who knows how to help clients pose to best highlight their features. No need to practice, but if you have any specific reference photos or poses you’d like to try, I’d love to help you make that happen!
What if I don’t feel sexy, beautiful, or confident? Is boudoir still for me?
Most of the clients shown in my portfolio felt the same when they booked! Feeling nervous is completely normal, welcomed, and part of the process. These emotions are truly just internal signs that you are about to do something incredible and exciting. The goal of boudoir goes beyond documenting how gorgeous you already are – it helps show you the sexy, beautiful, and confident woman that you already are. Take that leap of faith! It doesn’t count as “brave” if you aren’t a little nervous.
Will you post my images online? How will you keep my images safe?
Your privacy is my priority! You get to choose to what degree your images are shared online, if at all. There are three levels of release:
- Full Release: This gives the photographer permission to post any images from your boudoir session to show you off.
- Partial Release: Only images with your face concealed are shared, so you (and my online community) can enjoy and appreciate your artworks without you personally being identified.
- No Release: All of the artworks from your boudoir experience are private and will never be shared online.
Whether you choose to book with me or another photographer, be sure you are asked to sign this release form!
I also insure the utmost security for your intimate photographs. They are transferred directly from my memory card to my laptop via a wired connection, then saved to my PC and my external storage, both stored and edited locally. The only time your images will be online is when they are sent via my secure client gallery manager with a password-protected link, and an additional passcode for downloading images.
