Honored by the Abilene Community
I’m incredibly grateful to share that I received a Silver Award in the recent Abilene Community Votes campaign. More than anything, this recognition feels like a reminder of how powerful community support truly is—and how meaningful it is to serve people who trust me with their stories.
Being nominated and voted for by clients, friends, and community members is something I don’t take lightly. Photography is deeply personal work. When someone invites me into their life—whether to document a milestone, a quiet season of growth, or a moment of self-celebration—it’s an honor I carry with care. This award reflects that trust, and for that, I’m genuinely thankful.
I want to be clear: this recognition isn’t about ranking or competition. It’s about connection. It’s about showing up consistently, serving with integrity, and creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and celebrated. To everyone who took the time to vote, share kind words, or support my work in any way—thank you. I’m grateful beyond words.
Celebrating Other Local Winners
One of the best parts of the Abilene Community Votes campaign is seeing the wide range of incredible local businesses being recognized. Abilene is full of passionate, hardworking entrepreneurs who pour their hearts into what they do, and I believe we’re stronger when we support one another.
I encourage you to take time to check out and support the other winners and nominees from this year’s campaign. Each business brings something special to our community, and they’re more than deserving of the recognition they received. I’ll be linking and spotlighting several of these businesses here so you can explore, connect, and continue supporting local, like these amazing artists:

Community recognition like this is not something I’ll ever take for granted. It motivates me to keep growing, keep learning, and keep serving with intention. I’m honored to do this work—and even more honored to do it alongside such a strong, supportive community.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
